UCAS Update

I am very grateful to the Year Thirteen tutors for all their work on your references.  Thank you very much also to all applicants for your patience with the UCAS process, and for lots of very helpful conversations.  The process of getting your forms finalised is very much a team effort in which your active participation is essential. Please keep checking the blog and your e-mail regularly.  As of today, 49 forms have been sent to UCAS.  A further 12 need a few final details checking and will go as soon as these have been sorted out.  If your name is on this list, please stay closely in touch with me in the next week as we sort out the final details.

If you are not on this list and you haven't yet paid and sent there is a real danger that we are going to run out of time to complete your form before the national deadline on 15th January. Please talk to your tutor and e-mail me urgently.  We do not want to let anybody down, but the Cheney deadline of 17th October has long past and I do not know your intentions.  Communication is absolutely essential to help us provide the best support for you.  It isn't reasonable to ask staff to meet very short deadlines when we have given you very long ones.  You need to make your final decisions and choices and to decide whether to apply or not pretty much immediately.
