Cambridge is also advertising the competition below:

Raspberry Pi
PA Consulting runs an annual competition for schools using the Raspberry Pi (a device which was developed by academics at Cambridge University) to develop skills in engineering, technology and innovation. Each year there is a new theme and teams must develop an innovative device which helps solve an issue related to that theme. Therefore this is far from a simple coding challenge: pupils must work as a team, think of a new idea, solve a problem, develop a device and then be able to communicate their idea to the judges. Recent themes include ‘Health and Wellbeing’, ‘The Environment’ and ‘Helping People with Disabilities’. The competition launched in September year and entries must be submitted in February. Winning teams receive £1000 and some go on to commercialise their product.
The competition has three age categories: 7-11, 12-15 and 16-18.
