Classics talk this Wednesday: Happiness in the Ancient World

This a reminder that this coming Wednesday during Period Five, Professor Roger Crisp is coming to talk about Happiness in the Ancient World.  The talk will look at Aristotle’s ethics and bring out the links between happiness and virtue, with a little on the Socratic and Platonic background.
He is also going to come in in time for lunch, so that he is available to talk to anyone who is interested about studying Philosophy at university.
This talk will be of special interest to those studying Classics and Philosophy, but all are welcome to attend. If you would like to attend the talk and/or to meet with Professor Crisp over lunch to talk about studying Philosophy more generally, please let me know.
