We are offering the opportunity for students in their gap year to be a research assistant (RA) in a laboratory at the University of Oxford from September 2017 to September 2019. The role of the student would be to provide technical help to a D.Phil. student that has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and is therefore restricted in certain physical abilities.
This position is perfect for any individual interested in pursuing a career in medicine or biological sciences as it will provide invaluable laboratory research experience at one of the best universities in the world.
