Gold Duke of Edinburgh Practice Walk
I am emailing with a reminder that there
will be a practice walk for all students who are taking part in the Gold Duke of
Edinburgh Award. Participants will meet at the Flowing Well pub OX13 6RB at
10am, the walk should take around 2 hours and students will have their phones
in order to contact you towards the end of the walk.
A reminder that all participants are
required to practise the skills such as: compass bearing, pacing, hill walking,
contour lines and map reading.
I look forward to seeing the participants
there.
