We are incredibly lucky to have 1 staff ticket and 4 student tickets to Stephen Hawking's lecture in Oxford next Wednesday evening (5pm, Weds 18th Jan, Mathematics Institute, Oxford) .
If you would like to attend, a parent of guardian needs to fill out the consent form that has been emailed home and send it to Dr Spence (W-08) by 12 mid-day on Tuesday 17 January. Copies of the letter are also available from Dr Spence in person (W-08)
As we only have space to take four students, returning a consent slip
does not guarantee that can attend this event. Instead,
names of four students who have submitted a consent form will be drawn from a
hat on Tuesday 17 January at 12 mid-day. Students will be informed during
tutor time on Tuesday 17 January if they have been successful in their
application for a ticket.
For those students who are unsuccessful
in their bid for a ticket, the lecture will be podcasted live. See
