Taster
sessions
Abingdon
and Witney College will run and host a series of taster sessions that are
designed to help students understand what careers are available in the STEM
industry and raise awareness of apprenticeships in STEM.
The sessions will be focussed on practical and exciting
activities that will demonstrate the potential for high impact, long-lasting
careers in a thriving local and regional growth area.
The sessions will be held at a mixture of employer premises and
at Abingdon and Witney College so that the young people involved can gain an
understanding of the types of employers that they might work for, and an
understanding of the first class facilities that they can access at College to
support their training.
