Cheney's Japanese teacher, Nao-sensei, is going to send in entries for 15th World Haiku Contest on the theme of 'Living Things'. She is also going to hold Cheney's very own haiku competition, with Japanese-style prizes.
If you want to take part in either contest, please submit your haiku to me on paper or by e-mail by the end of this term. The World Haiku Contest is for under-16s, but students of any age can enter the Cheney contest.
