The Confident
Babysitting Course is a one day course which explores topics such as parent and
babysitter expectations, child safety and accident prevention, child
protection, practical issues and challenging behaviour as well as first aid. It
is hoped that by the end of the day students will become more confident and
have a better understanding of the responsibilities of looking after younger
children. On completion of the course, students will be issued with a
certificate of attendance and an Emergency Response First Aid Certificate,
which is valid for three years.
The course costs
£35, payable on the day. Refreshments will be provided, however students are
asked to bring a packed lunch.
