Meningitis B - research program and vaccination.

Following our Year 12 Assembly about Meningitis B and the new research program, Evaluating the effect of immunisation with group B meningococcal vaccines on meningococcal carriage, the immunisation team will be back on MONDAY MORNING 26 March in L1, from 8.30am.

What will happen?

1                     Visit L1 to pick up information and ask questions.

If you decide to go ahead:

2                     Sign a consent form

You will then:

3                     Have a throat swab

4                     Get the Vaccine

5                     Fill in an anonymous questionnaire

You would not otherwise get the Meningitis B vaccine, so it’s a great opportunity to get yourself protected. Also, by taking part in the study, you will be helping the research team work out how to reduce meningitis for all ages.
