Change to school access arrangements

Sixth form entry and exit from school

We have reviewed the security of the school site and have had to make some changes.

From Wednesday 21 March 2018 sixth form students will be checked by a member of staff when they enter or exit the school.  This must be through the gate between Wainright and Brighouse building at the following times:

Before School              8:00 to 8:45

Morning break            10:30 to 10:55

Lunch break                1:00 to 1:25

After school                 2:50 onwards (departing only)

If a student has an appointment they should sign out or in at the visitors’ reception in Wainright.

Badges and lanyards

All sixth form students must wear their lanyards at all times.  Entry to school will not be permitted without a badge and lanyard.  If a student has left these at home they will be expected to return home to collect them.  If they are lost students will be asked to go to reception, contact home and organise payment through ‘ParentPay’ for a replacement and then they will be issued with a daily visitor’s pass.
