Hedges Law Winter 2017 Essay Competition
Opportunity to win an Internship at a Law firm in Oxford.
This is a fantastic chance to improve on essay writing skills and to
get valuable work experience within a law firm.
Hedges Law are running their winter 2017 essay writing
competition.
It is open to all students within the sixth form.
All you need to do is write answer the following question in
no more than 1,500 words:
“We will
never again, in any future conflict, let those activist, left-wing human rights
lawyers harangue and harass the bravest of the brave – the men and women of
Britain’s armed forces” – Theresa May, PM
Under the
government’s proposals, British soldiers would be exempt from being sued for
claims under European Court of Human Rights Law. Would this be a good thing?
