Classics and English Cross-Discipline Taster Study Day: Thursday 16th February

The Family in Epic and Tragedy
The Faculty of Classics and the English Faculty are offering a taster study day on the topic of families in epic and tragedy from the ancient world to the modern day for Year 12/Lower 6th students interested in studying Classics and English. Participants will discuss a variety of topics with Oxford tutors and explore the enduring significance of the concept of family in narrative.

Classics and Oriental Studies Cross-Discipline Taster Study Day: Friday 17th February

Gazing at the Stars in Antiquity!
The Faculty of Classics and the Oriental Institute are offering a taster study day on the topic of astronomy and the stars in the ancient world for Year 12/Lower 6th students interested in Classical and Oriental studies. Participants will discuss a variety of topics with Oxford tutors and explore the enduring influence of the stars.

Spaces for each Taster Study Day are limited and by application.
