Britain and the European Union – the past, the present and the future, Thursday, 17th November 2016, The Bodleian Libraries, Oxford.

I’m writing from Oxford University’s Department of Politics and International Relations and the Bodleian Libraries and am pleased to invite you and your sixth form students to our Parliament Week event for this year.

We’re planning a special event for sixth form students to explore the past, present and future of Britain’s relationship with the European Union. The event will be in two parts: a workshop followed by a panel discussion.

The workshop will be interactive, designed for sixth form students (with the new A Level Politics syllabus in mind) and delivered by members of the Department of Politics and International Relations.

It will be followed by an especially arranged Question Time style session with high profile Members of Parliament and figures centrally involved in the Brexit debates.
