London Anthropology Day 2017 (LAD2017) is a free university taster day for Year 12, 13, FE students, careers advisers and teachers. LAD2017 will take place from 10am – 5.30pm, Thursday 29 June 2017 at the Clore Education Centre, British Museum. It is FREE for Year 12, 13, FE students, careers advisers and teachers to attend but attendees need to book into their chosen workshops via the website www.londonanthropologyday.co.uk. Booking will close at 12.00 noon BST on Friday 23 June 2017.

Fascinated by different cultures? Curious about human evolution? Looking for a broad and exciting degree?
Gain hands-on experience of what it is like to study undergraduate anthropology at university. Take part in interactive workshops such as “Down to the Bare Bones?”, “The Anthropology of Protest” and “Collisions! People and Objects in the Pacific”, delivered by university lecturers from twenty-two anthropology departments around the UK. Students can explore career paths with anthropology, compare undergraduate courses at all the university stalls, gain tips on university admission and meet students who are currently studying anthropology. We expect 500 participants to attend. London Anthropology Day is organised by Emma Ford (Education and Communications Officer at the Royal Anthropological Institute) in collaboration with the British Museum and participating universities.
