Events and Meetings Week Beginning 21st March

Next week is the end of term but before we get to the Easter Holidays there is still lots to do and be involved with:

Monday 21st March

8:30 - 11:50 (p1-3): Year 12 Personal Statement Writing Workshop in the Assembly Hall. [compulsory for ALL year 12]. Come to the Assembly hall for 8:30.

12:50 : All those involved in the EU Referendum debate need to attend a meeting in L1 with Miss Stratford to make sure everyone knows what is going on.

2:30: It's time for the mock EU Referendum Debate! This will be in the lower gym or L1 (tbc asap). You are all invited. Please let me, Miss Stratford, know if you plan to attend just so I have an idea of numbers.

Tuesday 22nd March

3:30: If you are running a polling station for Wednesday's voting day you will need to come to a quick meeting after school to find out about the logistics of the day and how to set up your polling stations. Please can the student rep team who have organised the referendum also attend.

Wednesday 23rd March

EU Referendum Voting Day!
Be sure to cast your votes during any of the voting times: break, lunch and for an hour after school.
In order to make this mock event mirror the real world ALL Sixth Formers are required to register to vote. If you do not register then you will not be allowed to cast your vote. Registering to vote is easy...all you need to do is fill out a form (which you can get from the Sixth Form Office). Then on Voting day you will hand your form into the students running the polling station.

To find out how easy it is to register to vote, why it is important to have your say and if you are 18 formally register to vote follow this link: Bite the Ballot

1:30 - Year 13 Assembly in L1 - run by the Head Boy and Girl

Thursday 24th March

The result of the mock EU Referendum is revealed.

2:30 - Year 12 Assembly in L1 - run by the Head Boy and Girl

Last day of term, school breaks up for the Easter Holidays.
