Dr Rebecca Armstrong, lecturer in Classics at St
Hilda's College, Oxford, is delivering a lunch time talk on Thursday, 22nd
October, 12.50-1.30pm talking about the Roman poet Catullus.
Catullus’
poems were passionate, sincere, extremely rude and gave an insight into his everyday
life. His poems have appeared on the London Underground!
AS and A2
Latinists and Class Civ students should attend. All are
welcome to attend; bring your
lunch. There will be a chance to ask questions about studying classics at
University.
