Oxford PRIME programme (increasing access
to legal careers)
PRIME is a new initiative that Blake
Morgan has recently become involved in along with twenty-two other leading UK
law firms. We are one of the founding members of this profession-wide
initiative, which creates fair access to quality work experience for young
people from less privileged backgrounds. We pledge that each year we will
provide a number of high quality places to young people (Years 12 & 13)
from local schools and colleges. This involves:

At
least 30-35 hours of work experience per place
·
Help
in developing key business and personal skills
·
Showing
the range of careers available in a legal profession both legal and non-legal
(such as IT, accounting, HR, and marketing/business development) and the
potential routes into each career.
